Call For Presentations
The Utility Payment Conference cordially invites interested parties in the cooperative, municipality,
utility, retailer, service provider and vendor sector to submit presentation abstracts for the 13th
Annual Utility Payment Conference in October, 2010.   Take a look at the
suggested topics.

Timeline
Abstract submission due date:  November 15 - March 1
Abstract selection:  March 31
Abstract notification acceptance:  April 15
Final presentation submittal:  August 15

General Information
Audience
Your audience will consist of owners, CEO's, vice presidents, directors, managers, supervisors,
coordinators, analysts and representatives from cooperatives, municipalities, utilities, retailers and
service providers in the Customer Service, Customer Accounting, Credit, Collections, IT,
Purchasing, Remittance and Treasury departments with a concentration of or sole interest in
payments and credit and collections.

Information
All information shared for the abstract and throughout the selection and presentation process
should be generic.  
  • No proprietary or confidential information should be shared at any time
  • No sales or promotion of your company/and or vendor should occur

Presentation Length
Presentation length may be from one half (1/2) hour up to and including one (1) hour including
Q&A.  The amount of time provided to you may be adjusted by the Planning Committee.  

Selection Information
  • The scope of the presentation should be relevant to the audience and supported by 3-4
    items that the audience will learn (knowledge indicators)
  • Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Presentation Committee
  • Abstract selection will be based on the clarity and quality of the presentation, relevance to
    the audience, originality of presentation and the style and innovation of the presentation
